Citex Software Releases Adhere Mobile Advertising Platform
After the success of Citex Software’s beta release of its open source Adhere Mobile Ad Server, which has seen more than 750 downloads during the past 12 months, Citex Software proudly announces the general availability of the complete Adhere Mobile Advertising Platform. The platform consists of the Ad Server complemented with two premium engines for Mobile Web Ads and SMS Ads. These components, combined with the Adhere User Profiles Server, constitute the complete Adhere Mobile Advertising Platform.
The new release of the Adhere Ad Server offers new features including an advertisers’ self service portal, an operators’ self service portal, and enhanced reporting that includes location breakdown and handset breakdown.
The Adhere Mobile Web Engine provides a publishers’ interface with invocation codes similar to those of the online world. It serves MMA-compliant banner ads and web text ads.
The Adhere SMS Engine enables the conversion of SMS messages, both person-to-person and application-to-person, into targeted advertising channels. It provides interfaces to integrate directly with operators or content providers and is capable of supporting multiple operators concurrently by creating a virtually private environment for each operator. Each operator may also have multiple SMS channels.
Both the Premium Edition and the Free Edition are capable of serving user profiles to applications, such as ad servers, for effective targeting purposes.
